I prepared this in honor of Tu-Bishvat, I wanted something that incorporated dried fruits and it was a hit, it can be served with couscous, I had served it with chicken pastillas.
(btw, the picture does not do it justice)

1 pinch nutmeg1 pinch turmeric
1 tbsp vegetable oil
1 tbsp wateroil to lightly fry the chicken

Flatten the chicken until you have nice large even pieces then take about 2 tbsps worth of meat form a kebab style ball and place in the center of the chicken then roll up and close with a toothpick or 2 (don't forget to remove them before serving!) and dredge in flour, not too much though, and set aside.
In a large skillet heat the oil, then place the chicken on one side to brown, then brown the other sides of every bundle, remove from skillet, drain excess oil.
In a saucepan add the sliced onions, dried fruit, 1 tbsp chicken soup powder and 2 cups water. Bring to a boil, add salt and pepper to taste, reduce to low, cover and simmer for about 30 minutes, then add the stuffed chicken to the sauce and cook on low for at least an hour, till the liquid has reduced and the chicken has browned.
