Everyone has a burger recipe that they like, I have a few that I like to choose from, but my favorite is this spicy version. It's very simple to prepare, great for the BBQ or oven and paires well with rice, potatoes or in a pita with your favorite condiments. Here's what you'll need:1 pound kosher ground beef
1/2 tsp cumin
2 crushed garlic cloves
1 tsp Harissa made from crushed hot peppers (like Paparico for example)
1/4 cup finely chopped parsley
salt & pepper
1 tsp oil
1 tbsp water
Add all the ingredients in a bowl and mix well then take about 2 tsp worth of meat or about the size of a gold ball and shape either as a patty or torpedo shape, you can oil your hands before to help have a smoother texture. Let them rest in the fridge for about an hour then BBQ them or place them on a grill on a large roasting pan and broil them in the oven, making sure not to burn them.
