I wanted to make a pretty dessert without working too hard, so I bought a box of kosher Duncan Hines white cake (parve), a container of nutri-whip and some strawberries.
Follow the instructions on the box to prepare and bake the cake, I used two 8 inch cake rounds (I only used 1 cake and froze the other), then I whipped up the nutri-whip with some vanilla extract and sliced some strawberries.
When the cake is ready, let it cool, then slice it carefully in two so that you have 2 discs, then cover one half with whipped topping then strawberry slices, then cover with the second cake disc, add the whipped topping again, but this time covering the whole cake, even on the sides and add more strawberries to the top, you can also mix different berries together if you like.

Voila, piece of cake!
