Peanut butter cookies

Ten pm and I have cookies on the brain! The quickest ones I know to make are these lovely peanut butter cookies. While preparing them, I had the wild idea that ginger would go well with PB, I was WRONG! Not a good mix at all, so stick to the basics.
Here's what you'll need:

1 cup peanut butter (smooth or crunchy)
1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
2 eggs
1/2 cup sugar
1 pinch of salt
1/2 tsp baking powder

Preheat oven to 375F, then mix together all the ingredients in a bowl then roll 1 tbsp worth of dough into a ball and place on a greased cookie sheet. Then flatten each cookie with a fork and press the fork into the cookie to make a design. Bake for 15 to 18 minutes (for a soft center) and let them cool at least 10 minutes, enjoy with milk!
